The most extreme competition of the year and the first of the season. Riva di Tures is one of the coldest spots of Italy: in January the daily exposure to the sun never exceeds 60 minutes and you can reach temperatures of -22°C. Climatic conditions make it very complicated to stabilize the smoker and am able to subvert entirely the values in the field. The competition area is at the start of a cross-country ski slope, snow is the master and arranging the team spot is possible only by moving the equipment on wooden planks, using them as sleds. GC holders are the Austrians Longhorn Ranch that we will face along with 30 teams subscribed at the usual fierce and very difficult competition.
